Introduction
After Beauty Discoveries in last week’s post about my top makeup and haircare discoveries.
I’m ending 2021 with my top skincare and body care discoveries.
Skincare is always a much more complicated category to pin down, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t do a great job, haha. I’m also lucky enough to have products shipped to me in PR (I’m not required to post about them).
But I tend to prioritize testing over products I’ve bought myself, so this post is PR-heavy.
I’ll link to my full review, but try to keep it short and sweet, or else this post will be too long!
I started with skincare, and this year I found three new cleansers that I fell in love with! First up, The Inkey List RRP £10.99* Fulvic Acid Cleanser.
which was in constant rotation for me last summer and perfect for a second morning cleanse. It left my skin light and smoothed without drying it out!
Venn Moisture Balance All-In-One Face Wash via Face the Future RRP £55* was to remain featured in this review.
It’s a bit more expensive. But it’s very effective and works as a first cleanse and a second morning cleanse, so it is an all-in-one! It has a nice texture, is hydrating, and removes makeup easily.
Finally. In the cleanser category, Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser RRP £35* is the newest of these three to land in my cleansing stash. and remain I’m colored with awe! and also
Super gentle yet effective, it brightens up my complexion and leaves an excellent base for the rest of my makeup and skincare application! I haven’t noticed any sensitivity to glycolic acid, either!
Mara Algae + Zinc Sea Kale Sunscreen Serum Beauty Discoveries
I seriously attribute the fact that people say I look much younger to my constant sunscreen usage. But as we see, not all sunscreens are shaped equally, and many tend to dry me out. While there are plenty of things I can recommend. Nars Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm Beauty Discoveries
This limited-edition lip balm offers a matte finish that hydrates your lips. In addition, it contains bamboo fibers, creating a soft, blurry blur effect that looks amazing and lasts a decent amount of time for a balm-type product.
Billie Razor Beauty Discoveries
After having a disastrous experience with another independent razor brand last year, I was skeptical about Billie. But unlike her competitor, Billie delivers a close, clean shave that makes my skin feel soft and smooth.
